A point-and-click adventure about a young, artistic girl who, while suffering from writer's block, is mysteriously drawn into a fairy-tale world. To return to her own world, she must help the characters who live there, and perhaps in doing so, her writer's block will disappear and she will find her muse.
My Responsibility:
In this project, I took on a dual role as Project Manager and UI Artist. My focus was on establishing a structured production workflow while simultaneously creating a cohesive visual interface. Acting as the central point of contact, I was responsible for coordinating tasks, maintaining the project timeline, and ensuring that the UI design aligned with both technical requirements and the artistic vision.

Acting as the central point of contact, I was responsible for coordinating tasks, maintaining the project timeline, and ensuring that the UI design aligned with both technical requirements and the artistic vision.
The Challenge:
Stepping into these roles for the first time presented a unique challenge: I had to master project management methodologies and UI design principles on the fly. In a fast-paced development environment, this required not only a steep learning curve but also the ability to manage a team while still developing my own technical craft in UI art.
The Solution:
To bridge my knowledge gap, I initiated an intensive, feedback-driven workflow. I worked in close collaboration with our senior artists, regularly seeking their expertise to refine my UI assets and ensure industry-standard quality. As a project manager, I prioritized radical transparency and constant communication. By acknowledging the team's expertise and fostering an environment of mutual growth, I successfully navigated this unknown terrain. This experience gave me a deep understanding of how cross-departmental alignment and a 'learn-it-all' mindset are crucial for a project's success.
