This game was created for the AUX-JAM 2025. The theme of the jam was "Kreislauf".

The Jam took place over 3 Days.

The game takes place on a "medievalish" island with a Lighthouse.

One day, strange voices can be heard, followed by eldritch tentacles spawning across the Map. Your fears have come true, he has awoken.

My Responsibility:
In this fast-paced game jam project, I took on a dual role, transitioning from initial Game Design to 3D Art production. My focus was on defining the core mechanics during the concept phase and subsequently pivoting to asset creation to meet the visual needs of the project. Working in a small, lean team of three, I was responsible for ensuring that our creative ambitions stayed within the technical limits of a 72-hour development cycle.

The Challenge:
With only three days to deliver a playable experience, time was our most critical resource. As a beginner in 3D art, I faced the challenge of producing functional assets while simultaneously maintaining the project's momentum. We had to clearly define roles and responsibilities from the start to avoid any overlap or wasted effort in such a compressed timeframe.

The Solution:
To maximize our efficiency, I prioritized radical transparency regarding my current skill level in 3D art. This allowed the team to set realistic expectations and adapt the art style to a manageable yet effective aesthetic. We established a high-frequency feedback loop, with internal syncs every few hours to address misunderstandings immediately and keep the project on track. This agile approach enabled us to pivot quickly when needed and resulted in a polished, playable game delivered right on time.
