Voluntold is a survival horror game where enemies and hazards remain unseen. Instead, you must rely entirely on the reactions of the 'volunteers' and your monitoring devices to survive.

The player takes on the role of the so-called "Operator", whose task is to guide his "volunteers" through the ruins of radiation-contaminatedd buildings. Keep an eye on yout team's reactions, kill enemies, and search for important documents, called "the artifacts".
Only once your volunteers have obtained the necessary item may they leave the building.
So hurry, because time is running out.

My Responsibility:
My responsibilities on this project were very varied.

As a project manager, it was my job to prioritize the various tasks and assign them among our team in a way that served the project's goals, despite limited resources.
As a game designer, developing various mechanics was part of my responsibilities.
As both a 2D and 3D artist, I was responsible, among other things, for creating assets such as the Geiger counter and the control panel.
In the area of sound design, I was primarily responsible for sound effects and ambient sounds, but also for the music.

The Challenge:

Developing the game as a two-person project was particularly challenging. Each of us had several areas of responsibility, and prioritizing the various tasks was very important. In addition, we had somewhat underestimated the scope of the game relative to such a small team.

The Solution:

By making a tough decision to narrow the scope, we've been able to focus more precisely on a smaller, but more polished, part of the game. The plan for the future is to gradually incorporate the elements that were cut, such as mechanics and levels..
